What I measure
Owais Writes records a small set of first-party events: page views, broad referral categories, 30- and 90-second reading milestones, scroll milestones, video starts, related-post clicks, and comment submissions. That list sounds longer written out than it really is. Each event uses a random identifier that lasts only for the current browser tab session.
The site does not intentionally store visitor IP addresses, use advertising profiles, run session recordings, or track people across unrelated websites.
Analytics event records are retained for up to 180 days. The private dashboard presents these signals as sessions and estimated engagement, not as identified people.
Comments
You choose a display name and write your comment. I do not ask for an email address. Comments stay private until I approve them. Once approved, the display name and comment become public.
Rejected comments are removed after 30 days. Approved comments remain with the discussion unless they need to be removed for privacy, safety, or moderation reasons.
Owner sign-in
The private dashboard uses Sign in with ChatGPT and is restricted to the site owner. Public readers do not need an account.
External content
Video preview images are served by Owais Writes. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player does not load until you choose to play a video. Articles may also link to official product resources. Those services apply their own policies when you follow a link or interact with an embed.
